Yeehaaa!

Request for a two tier cake for a wedding that was to take place in three days that was western theme...hhmmm, three days?  After some research I came up with this.  White cake colored turquoise and all buttercream made with all shortening because it also had to travel to Laughlin, NV where it is predicted to be over 100 degrees.  I am hoping and praying for a good ending to this story.

Last minute gumpaste sunflowers and the leaves I already had made (time saver there)
Belt buckle using oval and heart cutters with gumpaste turquoise in the center.  The beading  is white spinkles picked out of multicolored ones (I know...crazy and very anal).  Stamped with embossing sticks and painted with silver highlighter.

Wanted  this to look similar to a bandana pattern so used paisley and flower cutters and then piped dots with royal icing.  I did good getting the gumpaste and royal icing the same color.
