Little Pony

My Little Pony cake for Bailey that I did about a year and a half ago.  Everything but the ponies are hand-made.  Her favorite was Rainbow Dash.

Hey, Mikie

 Monsters Inc. cake for Kensie

A little Mike Wyzowski with his party hat on.

Been a while since posting to my cake blog because of computer issues and it's been several months since even doing a cake because of moving and all my equipment had been packed up.  So, here is a simple but cute little cake for Brooklinn (nickname "Cookie") on her 11th birthday.  Vanilla cake with a mixed berry filling.  The number 11 was coated in sparkles.

Duck Dynasty

Buttercream frosting and gumpaste sculpting.  Camo tier was piped and then smoothed with viva towel...easier than expected.  Cake was also camo colored, starting with marble cake.

Minnie Mouse

For a first birthday. Vanilla cake with Bavarian cream filling.  Cake tiers are three layers of pink/white/pink which was not requested but I thought a nice surprise for them.  They enjoyed it.

thought this would make the number one a little more special

Baby Builder

My rendition from a picture on an invitation for Dave's cousin who is having a baby shower for a friend and she is doing a cake and cupcake tower and needed a topper for the cake.  Looks very similar to the picture and she is very happy with the results.  This is what I love to do most...sculpting

He's Eleven

Birthday cake for an eleven year old.  10 inch cake that was carved from a template I made from parchment paper.  French vanilla cake with Bavarian cream filling.  Buttercream frosting and gumpaste decorations.  Copied from a picture from another unknown cake artist.  Whoever you are...thanx for the inspiration.
