Deziree's Baby Shower
A baby shower cake for my grandaughter who wanted a little elegance with a little of her whimsy personality. Vanilla cake marbled with german chocolate, although a lot of the marble was cut off when leveling the cake for stacking (another lesson learned). Filling was homemade cheescake and frosted with buttercream.

What A Rush
Sugar Rush cake from the movie Wreck It Ralph for our Grandaughter who turns 5. I haven't seen the movie so had to trust my research on the internet for decorations. While at the party, the movie was on the tv and I did good. White cake with coconut mousse for filling (coconut pudding with the pieces of coconut sifted out and mixed with whipped cream topping), almost had a bavarian cream taste. Buttercream frosting.
The no. 5 is candy melts surrounded by a variety of candy. Mini Oreos for border.
The road is a mixture of nutter butters and heath crumbles ground up in food processor. Small mountains are cake pops, larger is ice cream cone filled with the same as cake pops to give it some weight.
Car is a toy.

Go 49ers
Super Bowl cake for San Francisco fans. Trophy made from gum paste and covered with silver highlighter. When time came to put everything together, Murphy's Law kicked in. The ball broke off the trophy and while trying to fix it the whole thing fell over and cracked the base. Thank goodness for royal icing to glue the ball back on and some strategic grass at the base of the trophy and everything was good to go. The magic of on the fly decorating. White cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries for the filling. Buttercream frosting.
