Cute As A Bug

 For an eleven year old who wanted a garden cake with bright colors and lots of bugs.  Lemon cake filled with cream cheese buttercream and lemon mousse.  Iced with buttercream and decorations molded from gumpaste. 

  

Pansies

 For my friend Carolyn celebrating her own personal milestone.    Lemon cake with left-over raspberry coulis and IMB from previous cake for the filling and regular buttercream for the icing.

        Getting better and better at getting my buttercream smooth (thank you Kellie for the pointers).
