Best Wishes Kathy
For one of my husband's co-workers. She is moving on to a different position and he wanted to do something special for her. Made like what I call an OOO-LA-LA cake. White cake spread with a layer of pineapple, then cheesecake pudding, and then whipped cream. All decorations were done with whipped cream except small pink flowers which were royal icing. Been a long time since a made a Wilton rose and they turned out just fine. Like riding a bike.

Baby Shower/Mothers Day Tea
For an ex-co-worker's daughter who was having a baby. The party was close to Mother's Day so the baby shower was also a Mother's Day Tea. All flowers were hand made with gum paste.
All three cakes are white. The small one had lemon mousse filling, the medium had whipped cream with fresh strawberries, the large had cream cheese filling. Covered with Choco-pan. I thought the whipped cream with strawberries would be the most popular, but it was the lemon mousse that people liked the most. That's what I get for thinkin'. You just can't predict.

Hockey
Made for an LA Kings hockey fan who was turning 24 years old. Emblem cut and sculpted by hand. Hockey pucks and sticks made from black gum paste. Was going to put purple beading on bottom of first tier but ran out of time and was forced to pipe the bottom edging. White cake with vanilla buttercream filling.
Alice in Wonderland
Made for my Granddaughter's birthday. She wanted an Alice in Wonderland cake that was like the cartoon. All character decorations, including the hat and tea set, were hand sculpted from gum paste. Tea cup has piping gel with brown coloring added to look like tea. Hooka has a piece of cotton coming out of his mouth to look like smoke. Cake is strawberry with strawberry jam and white chocolate buttercream filling.
BMX Cake
Made for my Granddaughter's significant other who is very into BMX bikes. Cake is red velvet with cream cheese filling and covered in chocolate fondant. Bike was a toy provided to me. Side "stickers" were hand cut in gum paste. Rocks sculpted from marbled gum paste and grass piped with a grass tip. The two tiny pink feet is for their daughter.
